Outline |
The Origami Kaikan is recognized as one of the "Six Cultural Treasures" of the Bunkyo Ward in Tokyo. It was established during the Ansei Period in 1858 and was originally a store for dyeing and manufacturing "washi" papers. The other authorized and appointed Cultural Treasures of Bunkyo Ward are: Ougai-Kinen, Yayoi Museum, Eisei Bunko, Bunkyo Ichiyoukaikan, and the Little Music Box Museum. |
